More Heat & Reduce Gas Bills

Mr Stephen Cranston’s spacious 4-bedroom home in Dunblane suffered from heat loss and poor performing gas central heating.

Despite substantial investments in new double-glazing, cavity wall insulation, more attic insulation, and a power flush of his central heating, the radiators were only lukewarm and the house always cold.

Solution

Platinum Hydro-Genie

Mr Cranston volunteered for an Energy Systems Living Lab test in which a Platinum Hydro-Genie system was installed on his gas central heating system for an independently run, three-month trial. It coincided with particularly cold weather, yet his home’s radiators soon felt much hotter, from top to bottom. Over the three-month trial, gas consumption reduced by 15.8%.
