If you have a heat pump and would like it to provide hotter hot water, hotter radiators and save you up to 25% on the running cost, then get in touch.
The pictures below are of a ground source heat pump in Gartmore in the Trossachs which has been transformed by installing our Hydro Genie system for heat pumps which was a 28mm Hydro Genie on the flow and one on the return and a 60 Amp voltage optimiser which brought the voltage down by 12 volts to 230 volts.
Our heating has now been coming on over the last 6 weeks or so. We have a 200 metre ground source heating system and in particular had a problem with the most distant heaters in the house not warming up adequately. This is resolved and despite the heat exchanger system being on a lower extraction setting than previously, the radiators themselves seem to be hotter. Although a full winter will give a better assessment regarding electricity cost savings, first impression is that it is doing exactly ‘what it says on the tin’.
